Global Knowledge, the specialist in IT education, has signed an agreement with US-based Red Hat to become its certified partner in the Republic and Britain for Linux training. Red Hat is widely considered to be the leading developer and provider of open source operating system solutions, including the Linux operating system.

Subscribers will be able to avail of Red Hat's full Linux training and certification curriculum, culminating in a Red Hat Engineer (RHCE) qualification. Courses will be available from the start of November, with sessions being initially held in Dublin, London, Reading and Manchester. Further cities will be added by the end of the year.
