ICS has reduced its variable mortgage rate by 0.25 per cent to 5.24 per cent from 5.49 per cent. A one-year fixed rate up to October 2000 is available at 4.4 per cent while the two- and three-year fixed rate is 4.99 per cent and the five-year is slightly higher at 5.15 per cent.

ICS believes the rate reduction makes it one of the top three best value mortgage providers in the State. Mortgages may be purchased at ICS Building Society branches or at one of its eight mortgage stores.
