THE Dublin engineering steel supplier Impact (Ireland) Metals has acquired the Belfast firm Maxwell Engineering Materials for an undisclosed sum. Under the terms of the acquisition, Maxwell will continue to trade under its own name but will operate as a division of Impact. All Maxwell employees are being retained.
