Ernst Young to create 300 jobs in Ireland over next 18 months
Accountancy and consulting firm Ernst Young has announced it will create 300 jobs across Ireland over the next 18 months.
The recruitment drive will take place across its offices in Dublin, Cork, Limerick, Waterford and Belfast.
Ernst Young is seeking to fill graduate positions and to hire qualified accountants and senior executives for its assurance, tax, advisory and transaction advisory services practices. A number of positions are also available on its fraud investigations and dispute services team.
30 new jobs at Global Indemnity
A total of 30 jobs are to be created with the establishment by Global Indemnity of an IT division in Cavan. The US insurance company’s subsidiary, Global Indemnity Services, will employ a wide range of technical staff.
The investment is supported by IDA Ireland, and the positions will be filled over the next five years.
PFH in 2.5m deal for Redstone
Technology services firm PFH has announced the acquisition of IT solutions provider Redstone Technology in a deal worth about €2.5 million.
PFH said the enlarged firm would have annual revenues of more than €55 million and employ 235 people. Chief executive Paul Hourican said the deal was strategic and strengthened its position.
