Two reports on alleged insider dealing and related offences were notified to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) by the Irish Stock Exchange last year and three further investigations were still ongoing at the end of 1997, according to the report of the Stock Exchange to the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment.

So far, it is understood that the DPP's office has not initiated any action in respect of the two reports of insider dealing.
