The Dublin-based Internet bank Enba is recruiting 50 additional software engineers to facilitate the expansion of its operations. The bank, which employs 180 people in Dublin, is expanding rapidly. Enba chief technology officer, Mr Shane Colclough, said Internet-only banking operations have very complex technological requirements including security, network stability and the need for massive processing capability. Enba was launched last August in Britain in co-operation with the French bank Banque d'Escompte.
