Private investors will have the opportunity to invest directly in St Stephen's Green Shopping Centre through an Irish Life investment bond.

The minimum investment in the St Stephen's Green Property Syndicate is £50,000. The shopping centre is valued at approximately £150 million.

The launch of the investment follows Irish Life's agreement with British Land to buy a majority stake in the centre.

The term of the bond is 7.5 years but may extend up to a maximum of 10 years. The fund is a leveraged fund that effectively gives investors access to returns on twice the value of their investment.
