ITouch, the mobile phone services provider in which Independent News & Media has a 50 per cent stake, had sales of £2.6 million sterling (#4.2 million) in the first quarter of this year, a 36 per cent increase on sales in the previous quarter. The group had net cash at the end of the quarter of £46 million sterling and losses in the period were £3.3 million sterling.
