The Belfast-based J P Corry Group, which acquired part of the Coen building materials business in the west of Ireland last year, has expanded further with the acquisition of Aerocrete for an undisclosed sum.
Aerocrete is a plumbing and heating equipment provider with outlets in Belfast and Dungannon and has an estimated turnover of £5 million with 50 staff. Following the acquisition, Corry will have 15 outlets and the expanded group will employ 330 people.
Corry, as it is currently constituted, is the product of a £7 million investment in the company two years ago by venture capital groups 3i and ICC.
