The Central Bank and Financial Regulator have advertised for two senior roles within the new Central Bank Commission at the level of assistant director general, covering the responsibilities for information and consumer protection.

The chief information officer will advise the Central Bank governor and provide information to members of the Oireachtas, while the assistant director general for consumer protection will report both to the governor and to the head of financial regulation.
