Fast food restaurant chain KFC plans to create 900 jobs in the Republic as part of an expansion plan which will involve it opening 30 new outlets in the State by 2005.

The chain already has four outlets in the Republic at the Liffey Valley Centre and the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre in Dublin, and in Letterkenny and Bundoran in Co Donegal.
