The Margin sometimes struggles to get up in the morning, but was delighted to receive an invitation to breakfast this week for the launch of a book involving collaborations between Price Waterhouse executives around the world with chief executive officers "who have excelled as agents of change". And who should be launching the book, Straight from the CEO, but Gary McGann, straight out of the CEO's chair in Aer Lingus, after Mary O'Rourke told him to go sooner rather than later after announcing his resignation. No doubt he has some interesting management insights on "agents of change" in the semi-states.
