Miriam Reynolds made partner in Fyfe Ireland

Fyfe Ireland, the Scottish law firm, has made Ms Miriam Reynolds a partner in the firm

Fyfe Ireland, the Scottish law firm, has made Ms Miriam Reynolds a partner in the firm. Ms Reynolds spent six years at the tax department of KPMG's Edinburgh office before joining Fyfe Ireland as an associate in February 1997.

Ms Reynolds, daughter of former Taoiseach Mr Albert Reynolds, will be responsible for the firm's tax and financial planning activities. She is the firm's 13th partner.

An assistant director of IBEC, Ms Rosemary Steen, is leaving the organisation to become commercial manager of Enterprise Oil.

Enterprise Oil is currently completing final test drilling at its Corrib discovery off the coast of Co Mayo. The last set of tests from the discovery indicated a potentially large gas deposit.

Golden Vale has appointed Mr Declan O'Keeffe as general manager for its agri business activities. He joins from the Greencore Group, where he was general manager of Greenvale Animal Feeds.

British Midland has appointed Ms Karen Dow as corporate account executive for the Republic. Ms Dow has 10 years experience in the travel industry and previously worked as long haul reservations manager for Joe Walsh Tours.

Mr Mon O'Driscoll has become a director of AIB Corporate Finance, specialising in mergers and acquisitions. He joins the company from AIB International Financial Services, where he was responsible for planning and implementing cross-border transactions for large European corporations.

Ms Catriona Murphy has left AIB where she headed up EMU Planning in its capital markets division. Ms Murphy was previously

a civil servant. She is a member of the board of the ESB and the International Fund for Ireland.

Two directors of the public relations firm Keating and Associates have set up their own agency. Ms Laurie Mannix and Mr Tim Kinsella will offer media relations, public information programmes, event management and employee relations services through the new company, Kinman.

Two non-executive directors have joined the board of Sherry FitzGerald. Mr Donal Chambers is former managing director of AIB Corporate Finance, while Ms Louise English is a former head of business development of the Investment Bank of Ireland.
