Britain's largest chain of mobile phone shops has issued a health advice factsheet in response to concern over the safety of mobile phones.
The Carphone Warehouse information sheet says at the moment there is "no conclusive evidence" that the phones affect health.
But it has promised to keep its customers up to date with latest research and advice on minimising the risks.
The move follows growing concern about whether mobiles can cause health problems including short-term memory loss and even cancer.
Last week solicitors acting for a 27-year-old woman suffering from a brain tumour said they were considering bringing what would be Britain's first legal action against phone manufacturers on health grounds.
The news came as scientists in Sweden published research suggesting an increased risk of headaches for people who spend more than two minutes using a phone.
