The National College of Ireland has launched an "affinity" MasterCard in association with Bank of Ireland. Cardholder benefits include 19.87 APR, which is 2 per cent lower than the normal rate, and personal accident insurance of up to £100,000 (€126,973). There is no annual account fee.
