The Minister for the Environment, Mr Dempsey, yesterday announced that an additional 45 jobs would be created in Plaut International Management Consulting in Navan, Co Meath, in the next four years.
Under the brand name of Syntacom, the company is moving to the IDA Business Park from its temporary base in the town, allowing it to expand its workforce. Graduates, who will work in the new technology competence centre in the business park, will fill most of the new positions.
Syntacom allows companies to outsource the management of their IT systems, a complex and rapidly changing industry. Syntacom will manage a company's system server in the Navan data centre or else remotely manage it at the customer's site through a frame relay network and systems management software.
Syntacom has already recruited 16 graduates. The new premises should be completed and ready for use by next July.
