Des O'Meara's has appointed Mr Liam Donohoe as its new managing director. The position became vacant last year with the departure of Mr Pat Kane and Mr Des O'Meara himself took over the helm until a successor could be found.

Mr Donohoe has been an account director with the advertising agency for the past few years and intends to raise the profile of the agency in the coming months.

Accounts include 98FM, Premier Dairies, Daewoo cars and Siemens.
