Internet service provider, Ireland On-Line (IOL), has introduced a new service that will come as good news to Irish business travellers who require constant access to their Internet account. This has become a growing requirement for users of email, who often have difficulty accessing their accounts from abroad. IOL says its new Flyer Service will allow customers avail of roaming facilities, including technical support, in all the leading international business destinations. To date major barriers to remote communication have been the high cost of accessing domestic accounts from abroad and the absence of adequate support structures.
The package includes British and US telephone modem adapters, a membership card and connection booklet, all the necessary software and one hour's free roaming per month. Access for Flyer Service customers is provided through Infonet. Customers can access IOL from abroad at local call rates and be guaranteed in-country rates worldwide.
