THE Margin was interested to read the report this week about the use of Nike trainer production as a gauge of economic performance, particularly in Asia. It appears those countries targeted by the group for the making of its products subsequently see a surge in their economic performance. What then, does Nike's lack of a plant here say for the future economic performance of the much vaunted Celtic Tiger.
