NTL's sponsorship of the Lions' tour will be supported by an advertising campaign on television, featuring a number of players including Brian O'Driscoll. The three-week campaign will have a media spend of £50,000 (#63,490). As part of the promotion there will be a dedicated Lions' tour website on www.ireland.com.
During the past year, Nestle Rowntree has been testing new foil packaging for its four-finger KitKat and now that 55 per cent of Irish consumers have said they prefer the new wrapping, the company is introducing it in the UK. The foil wrap is the first variation on the brand's distinctive packaging format since it was introduced in 1935.
The launch will be supported by a £3.5 million campaign which will include both TV, press and poster as well as consumer promotions.
Agency AFA Advertising has won three new accounts: Czech Airlines, Horizon Technical Services Ireland (part of Horizon Technology Group plc) and National Toll Roads.
