A dispute between a company which wants to operate Ireland's third mobile phone service and the Director of Telecommunications Regulation has been settled, the High Court was told yesterday. On July 17th last, Orange Communications was given leave by the High Court to challenge a decision by the director to enter into discussions with a rival for the contract. Orange Communications Ltd is based at Fitzwilliam Square, Dublin. Its parent, Orange plc, operates the Orange Digital telecommunications network in Britain.
