Overland Bolling, a US-owned company employing 44 people in Ennis, Co Clare, has gone into liquidation after unexpectedly closing its doors to employees 11 days ago.

Dublin-based accountancy firm Farrell Grant Sparks, has been appointed as liquidators. In September, eight staff were made redundant. The remaining workers were given no advance notice.
