British Midland has appointed Ms Jacqueline Kennedy as its Dublin airport manager. Ms Kennedy has more than 12 years experience in the aviation industry in the Republic and Britain. Prior to joining British Midland, she was ground services manager for Cityjet at Dublin airport.
She previously worked with Alitalia as station manager at the airport. She will be responsible for the airline's operations, including ground handling services.
Murphy Brewery has named Mr Eamonn O'Sullivan as its new brand manager for Heineken in the USA. He was previously regional sales manager with Murphy Brewery. Mr O'Sullivan will be responsible for marketing Murphys in north America.
The Irish Timber Council (ITC), which represents the State's sawmillers, has appointed Mr Kevin Bonner, a former senior civil servant, as director.
Mr Bonner was secretary-general at the Department of Labour, between 1990 and 1993 and held the same position in the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment between 1993 and 1997.
Mr Alan Matthews, is the new mortgage intermediary development manager with ACC Bank. His responsibility is to develop further intermediary relationships for the State-owned bank. Mr Matthews is leaving his position as the manager of the bank's Tallaght branch.
Agfa Ireland, the photographic and imaging manufacturer, has appointed Mr Peter Doyle to its board with immediate effect.
Mr Michael McPherson, is the new sales support manager at Standard Life Assurance. He will be responsible for managing the sales support provided to insurance brokers and sales teams throughout the company's six local offices in Dublin, Cork, Waterford, Sligo, Galway and Limerick.
Mr John Kavanagh, a member of the Fitzwilliam Hotel Group since 1989, has been appointed general manager of the five-star Fitzwilliam Hotel in St Stephen's Green, which is due to open in June.
The Bon Secours Health System, the private hospitals' group, has made three appointments to its board. They are: Mr Jack Casey, group managing director of New Ireland Assurance; Mr David Kennedy, a director of several companies, including CRH, the Jurys Hotel Group and Trans World Airlines; and Dr Edward Walsh, president of the University of Limerick.
