Sir George Quigley, the chairman of Ulster Bank, has been elected president of the Institute of International Trade of Ireland. He was also recently appointed president of the Economic and Social Research Institute.

Ms Imelda Crosson has been appointed head of human resources at Clerys. Prior to joining the company, she worked for Lloyds TSB and Aer Lingus.

Datapac, the computer services company, has appointed Mr Sean Coulter operations manager for its Computer Consumables Division in Goldenbridge, Dublin.

Mr Joe Tiernan has been reelected president of the Construction Industry Federation.

Ms Karen Doyle and Mr Sean McDermott have been appointed the new creative team at Brian Wallace Advertising.

Acheson & Glover, the construction materials manufacturer, has appointed Mr David Boland director, sales and marketing. Mr Boland joined the company as head of sales earlier this year.

Ms Caroline Bergin has been appointed deputy group secretary and solicitor with Greencore, from January 1st, following the retirement of Mr Frank Rowley. She formerly worked for A&L Goodbody, solicitors. Mr Alan Mills has been appointed assistant group secretary, joining the company from the Bank of Bermuda's Irish subsidiary, Management International (Dublin) where he was corporate secretarial manager.

Mr Bill Power has joined the Limerick office of Deloitte & Touche chartered accountants from Kerry Group, where he was group internal auditor.
