Recruitment agency AndersonSprattGroup Ltd has announced the appointment of Ms Deborah Brannelly and Ms Mary Nagle to its board of directors. Previously, Ms Brannelly and Ms Nagle held the position of joint general manager.
Mr Maurice Crowley, AIB's head of investor relations has been appointed executive vice-president and chief financial officer for its US subsidiary, Allfirst. Mr Crowley has worked in the venture capital group and in strategic planning, electronic banking and national payments before joining the investor relations team. In his new role, he will be a member of Allfirst's executive management committee and will be responsible for tax planning, cost management and investor relations.
EPS, the knowledge management company, has strengthened its team with two new appointments. Mr Garrett Doyle, previously with Intelligo Software, has been appointed account manager, while Mr Sean Daly has been hired as account manager in the EPS ebusiness intelligence team.
Mirador Software has hired Mr Alexis FitzGerald as technical director. Prior to joining Mirador, Mr FitzGerald worked for AIB and was main technical architect for its 24-hour online Internet banking product.
The Carr Golf Group has made a number of appointments as part of its ongoing expansion. Mr Robert Hill, who has been with the company for the past two years, has been appointed to the board of directors, while Ms Kate MacCann has joined as head of sales and marketing for the group. The group has also hired Mr Ross Robertson, who is expected to open a UK representative office for Carr Golf later this year.
Ms Jayne Harrison has been promoted to client services director at Pareto Marketing. A member of Pareto since 1993, Ms Harrison now assumes responsibility for staff relations and providing client care.
Three new partners have been appointed at Brady Shipman Martin - Ms Eilish Murphy in the landscape section, Mr Thomas Burns, senior landscape architect, and Mr Colm McCormack in the architectural section.
Ms Angela Hoban has been appointed marketing and communications manager at Hewlett-Packard Ireland. Ms Hoban joined HP in 1992 and has held various positions in the company, including marketing manager for the enterprise computing group.
Group director of operations/ commercial affairs at C&C Group Ltd Mr Jim Bradley has become president of the Soft Drinks and Beer Bottlers Association for 2001/2002.
Pfizer Ireland has strengthened its cardiovascular and mental health portfolios with the appointment of two new business managers. Mr Tommy Bracken has joined Pfizer from Novo Nordisk Pharmaceuticals where he was marketing director and will head up Pfizer's cardiovascular portfolio. Mr David Gallagher, who was previously business unit manager with Eli Lilly, will have responsibility for the mental health portfolio at Pfizer.
Mr John McKinney has been appointed as the new chief executive of the Special EU Programmes Body, one of the north-south bodies set up as a result of the Good Friday Agreement.
Ms Katherine Lucey is to leave her role as director of the Irish Software Association to take up the position of director of marketing operations in Irish software company Openet Telcom.
WorldCom Ireland has appointed Mr Warren Blackburn to the newly created position of head of business development. Mr Blackburn joins WorldCom from Esat Fusion where he was lead business analyst.
