Beamish & Crawford has appointed Mr Stephen Murphy to the board of the company as finance director and company secretary. A native of Cork, Mr Murphy is a chartered accountant by profession and has worked in various finance positions in the company since 1992.
Two new senior appointments have been made at Johnstown House Hotel and Spa. Ms Breda Keane has taken up the position of general manager, while Ms Catherine Bodley has been appointed sales and marketing manager. Both Ms Keane and Ms Bodley have more than 12 years' experience in the hotel industry.
Mr Alan Moore has been appointed the dealer principal and general manager for Tom Canavan Motors. Mr Moore started with the company as a sales manager for Volvo in 1995.
Mr Vincent Boyle has taken up the position of managing director at Trustee Pensions Ltd. The company has hired Ms Kirstyn Switzer as director of administration.
The European provider of pedestrian monitoring systems, FootFall Limited, has hired Dublin-born Mr Michael Stokes to look after its clients in Ireland, where the company already supplies cameras to 13 shopping centres.
NewMediaCV has named Mr Andre Morris as director of its UK operation, The Search Organisation. Mr Morris was previously principal executive of The Search Organisation, which was acquired by NewMediaCV last month.
Mr Tomas Jones has joined Davy Stockbrokers as director of its technology group. He joins from Horizon Technology Group where he was corporate development manager.
Mr Maurice Carr has been made a partner at BDO Simpson Xavier's Limerick office. Mr Carr has been appointed as the first partner in the area of recruitment, HR and retention.
IT solutions provider, JLS Technologies, has made a number of new appointments to its senior management team. Mr Fran Davern has been appointed operations director. He joins JLS Technology from Ulster Bank, where he was head of IT operational services.
Mr Tony Finn has been appointed director of networking services. Mr Finn was previously country manager for Comparex Ireland.
JLS has also hired Mr Conor Walsh as head of training and development. Mr Walsh has over seven years' experience as a senior trainer in the IT sector. Prior to joining JLS, he was a training consultant specialising in web technology.
DCM, one of the leading Irish providers of internetworking and telecommunications products, has recruited Mr Oliver Lynch as Lucent product manager.
