Conduit Software has strengthened its management team with the addition of Mr Mark Walton to the company as general manager for the UK and Ireland. Mr Walton joins Conduit from Varetis Communications.
Mr Michael Rogers has been appointed non-executive director of Engineering Solutions Ireland Limited. Previously managing director of Bull Cara Group, Mr Rogers is non-executive chairman of Ivutec Ltd, a director of Butler Technologies and Asian Connections, and sits on the advisory board of the National College of Art & Design.
Greencore Group has announced the appointment of Dr Sean Brady as chief executive of its sugar division with effect from October 1st, 2001. Dr Brady replaces Mr Tony Heaphy, who is due to retire from the position on September 30th, 2001.
Prediction Dynamics has named Mr Umesh Bhagwan as product manager. Mr Geoff Weir has been promoted to finance director at Swiftcall. Mr Weir joined Swiftcall in 1996, where he has worked in both finance and strategy.
It has also appointed Mr Eoghan O'Meara as strategy and planning manager.
The Irish Energy Centre has announced the appointment of Ms Majella Kelleher as head of corporate services. Ms Kelleher joined the Irish Energy Centre in 1995 as finance and contracts manager.
Ms Grainne O'Donoghue has joined Bradley McGurk partnership as design project manager.
Dublin-based aviation industry solutions provider Aircraft Management Technologies has named Mr Steffen Harpoth as chairman. Mr Harpoth was previously global head of FLS Aerospace.
Edelman PR Worldwide has unveiled a number of new appointments. It has hired Ms Jacquie Garvey as account manager to work on communications programmes for corporate and technology clients. Ms Aoifah Jones has been appointed account executive at Edelman's technology communications division, as has Mr Joe Doyle.
Information technology services organisation IT Alliance Group has appointed Mr Philip Jacobs as business development manager of its consulting division.
Mr Aaron Forde has been made general manager of Albatros Plant Nutrition in New Ross. Mr Forde is moving from the greater Manchester area where he was managing director of a food ingredients company, Adams Food Ingredients, owned by the Irish Dairy Board.
The Country Manor Brick Group has announced that Mr Robert Wasson, formerly a KPMG director, has been appointed group managing director.
Other key appointments are Mr Ken O'Sullivan and Mr Eu- gene Groeger to group chairman and chief executive respectively, and Ms Kate Lynch, also of KPMG, to human resources manager. Mr Cormac Lane, who previously worked with Grassland Fertilisers, has also been appointed as management accountant.
A number of new appointments have been announced at Spin Solutions. Mr Trevor Sulli- van, who has more than 40 years' experience as a senior manager in the IT market, has been appointed chairman of the board. Spin Solutions has also named Mr Seamus Matthews as its new sales and marketing director. Mr Matthews has also been appointed a director of the company.
Mr Bernard Farrell has been promoted to director-international at Servisair, the ground handling company. Up until mid-July, Mr Farrell was director-Ireland. He will be responsible for the company's entire operations covering Ireland and Scandinavia.
Mr Trevor Grant has been appointed managing director with IFG Mortgages, a wholly-owned subsidiary of IFG Group. Prior to this appointment, Mr Grant held the position of chief operating officer.
