A majority of Ryanair pilots took part in a ballot concerning future arrangements for representing their interests with the company, according to the Ryanair Pilot Group. The vast majority of participating pilots voted in favour of the proposal involved.
The ballot is the second held by the group and is part of a process designed to provide representation for the pilots. They have already overwhelmingly voted against the previous representation system, put in the place by the company, calling for it to be discontinued immediately.
“This second ballot has provided a conclusive mandate for the democratic principles pilots want to follow in their representation and negotiations with Ryanair,” the group said in a statement.
