Irish producer prices rose by 0.6 per cent in June and were up 3.0 per cent year-on-year. In May producer prices were 0.1 per cent higher month-on-month and were up 2.4 per cent from the previous year.
The index for export sales rose by 1.1 per cent and the index for home sales was up by 0.1 per cent in the month, Central Statistics Office data showed yesterday.
Dairy products rose by 1.8 per cent and all other foods by 1.2 per cent, while building and construction material prices were up by 0.3 per cent in June and increased by 5.0 per cent in the year since June 2000.
Petrol fuels rose by 2.8 per cent in June and were up 4.8 per cent year-on-year.
