Reflex, the computer rental group, has returned to the black

Reflex, the computer rental group, has returned to the black. Interim results show a profit before tax of £206,000 in the six months to June 30th, 1998, compared with a loss of £1,154,000. Reflex's hefty losses last year were mainly due to the decision to close its Hands On Internet cafes in Britain. Earnings per share amounted to 0.39p compared with a loss of 2.77p. No dividends are being paid. Shareholders' funds improved from £1,297,000 to £1,516,000.
