Telecoms regulator, Ms Etain Doyle, yesterday called for investment in technologies such as fixed wireless access to address a telecoms infrastructure deficit in the regions.

She was speaking in Mayo at the Information, Communications Technology conference for the Border, Midlands and Western Regions.
