The implementation group established to advise the Government on the establishment of a single regulatory authority for the financial services sector will hold its first meeting tomorrow.

The group, which is chaired by Mr Michael McDowell, has been asked to report to the Tanaiste and the Minister for Finance by February 28th 1999.
