Restaurant chain Nando’s has announced the creation of 100 new jobs through the opening of two new restaurants in Dublin.
The branches, at Blanchardstown and Liffey Valley shopping centre, will add 50 jobs each, two-thirds of which are full-time, with the remainder part-time. The positions will be for cashiers and grillers.
Recruitment for the jobs, which was conducted through social media, is almost complete.
The new jobs will bring Nando’s workforce in Ireland to 380 people.
Nando’s already has seven restaurants in the Republic and two in Northern Ireland.
Nando’s is a South African-based fast-food company which specialises in chicken.
It opened its first branch in the Republic in Dundrum in 2008.
