Roches Stores will introduce its new corporate image next week when it opens its £8 million flagship store in Newry.
The familiar red-and-white colour scheme will give way to a more contemporary green-and-blue logo, complete with an abstract symbol designed by Mr John Carvill, creative director of Grey Advertising.
The logo will appear on all signage, bags and in-store merchandising and will be introduced in all other outlets throughout Ireland, with Roches Stores in Tallaght being the first store to re-brand in early August.
Research showed that the red-and-white logo was seen as old-fashioned.
