Ryanair has said it will cease its daily service from London Stansted to Rimini from June 25th because of "significant difficulties" with the board and management of the Italian airport. The airline has been flying the route for the last three years, carrying more than 70,000 passengers last year, it said.
"However, since the management and board of the airport changed within the last 12 months, they have sought to change the terms of the contract with Ryanair and to break the terms of the deal," Ryanair said. For the remainder of the summer schedule, Ryanair will shift its extra capacity to Ancona.
