One of the world's leading specialist software companies has given its top international sales award to an Irish company.

Seabrook Research, which has offices in Dublin and Cork, competed with companies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa to win the annual award presented for sales and implementation of MFG PRO, the software system developed by QAD Inc of California. MFG PRO is an integrated manufacturing and distribution software system manufactured by QAD. It has 300,000 users in 5,000 sites around the world.

Seabrook's managing director, Mr Sean O'Sullivan, said the QAD award recognised the growth of the company which employs 16 staff.
