Two seminars examining the implications of the euro are to be held in Dublin next week. On Tuesday, May 5th, the Irish Exporters Association, Bord Bia and the Irish Trade Board are holding a symposium. The Taoiseach, Mr Ahern, will address the meeting, along with Mr Redmond O'Donoghue, the Waterford Group chief executive.
On Wednesday, May 6th, the Institute of Business Analysts and Consulants is hosting a seminar. Mr Eoin Gahan, senior economist at Forfas will look at the issues for business, while Mr Maurice Crowley, head of national payments strategy in AIB, will examine the impact on the banking sector.
