The attraction of stock options at start-up firms for employees in the technology sector has fallen dramatically over the past six months, a new survey has found.
The survey, compiled by recruitment experts Rescon, found just 8 per cent of employees said stock options were the main motivating factor at work, compared with 34 per cent surveyed last year.
In contrast, training and development was cited by some 35 per cent of employees as an appealing factor, while job security was mentioned by 4 per cent of staff surveyed.
