Davy Stockbrokers and Goodbody Stockbrokers have swept the boards in a survey of 150 European fund managers on the research analysis and overall dealing service of Irish stockbroking firms. Newcomer Merrion was ranked third.
The survey by London-based Tempest Direct in association with Reuters is in stark contrast with the recent survey of the Irish magazine Finance, where ABN Amro Stockbrokers were the unquestioned winners with the top rating in eight of 11 analyst categories. ABN Amro barely features in the Tempest survey.
