The Great Investment Debate, organised by Bank of Ireland Asset Management, Gunnes and The Irish Times attracted an audience of more than 900 over two days to the O'Reilly Hall in UCD this week. Those attending were asked to write questions and pass them on for answer by the panel. Among the many looking for advice on property yields and tips for the market, one caught the Margin's attention. It read: "The stockmarket. Can you advise on where to obtain a reliable crystal ball." If any of the speakers knew, they weren't saying.
