Disgo 6000, £180
It is not all about iPads and Tabs. The Disgo 6000 is more of a budget device that allows you the benefits of a tablet device without having to shell out several hundred euro for the privilege. The device has a 7-inch touch-sensitive screen, 2GB of storage and can be expanded to 32GB via a Micro SD card. It uses Google’s Android operating system but, instead of the Android market app, you install new software via the Disgo 6000’s own Slide Me app downloader.
It also comes with apps such as YouTube, wowBook eReader and Skyfire internet browser preloaded.
Although it is possible to activate the screen by touch, the included stylus is far more accurate.
It is not as thin as some tablets, but it is still slim enough to fit in a bag or pocket.

HP Envy 100 eAll-in-One, €299
As far as office equipment goes, the printer is usually the least exciting of the bunch. But HP’s Envy 100 eAll-in-One device is compact and stylish but still performs as well as a regular printer, scanner and copier.
Not only does it look different – it has aluminium and glass casing – it also has features including web, wireless and remote printing. You can share the e-All- in-One to a number of different machines on your wireless network; print web content without the need for a PC through one-touch apps; and use HP ePrint to print documents while you’re away.
The paper tray is automatic, so it extends when you need it and retracts as soon as you’re done. It is also pretty quiet, so you can put it wherever you want without fear of it causing a racket.

Summit HD Video Camera Goggles, €295
If you have every felt the need to film yourself hurtling down ski slopes at high speed, the Summit HD Video Camera Goggles could be just what you need to keep your bones intact. Personally, I prefer to hit the blue slopes at a moderate pace. But still, the Summit goggles could come in handy.
As the name suggests, they have an integrated video camera, which films in 720p resolution via a wide angle lens, and even takes 5 megapixel still images. These are stored to a micro SD card in the goggles that can be replaced with a higher capacity card up to 32GB. It has also got a windproof mic (useful if you’re up to the challenge of reaching high speeds). As for power, the rechargeable battery gives about two hours of filming time.
