The Killers
It’s not a Vegas after party without some celebrity guests. Las Vegas locals the Killers were drafted in by ATT to play at the Hackathon party at the Rain nightclub in the Palms hotel. The company was holding its developer summit this week.
Other band appearances at the show include Maroon 5, which played at Qualcomm’s keynote on Monday, and Alicia Keys played the Monster Cable Party last night.
50 Cent
One rap star launches his own brand of headphones and the next thing you know they’re all jumping on the audio bandwagon. Curtis Jackson, aka rapper 50 Cent, was pushing his SMS Audio line at CES. Ludacris, meanwhile, is hosting a party at TAO Nightclub for Soul audio tonight.
Big Bird
Forget Guillermo del Toro and Maroon 5. You can even ignore the fact that Microsoft’s Steve Ballmer made a surprise appearance. The biggest celebrity to attend Qualcomm’s CES keynote was Sesame Street’s very own Big Bird. The children’s favourite joined the Born Mobile party to show off a Big Bird themed children’s application.
Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi
The pint-sized star of Jersey Shore was at the show to promote her new headphone line (see? Everyone is at it) at the Zeikos booth. If the last effort is anything to go by, expect bling, and lots of it.
Also at the show: will.i.am, Danny DeVito, LL Cool J, Kelly Le Brock, Travis Barker and Felicia Day.
