Citrix Systems is to take on 50 more engineers, managerial and customer support staff as it expands operations in Ireland.
Citrix Systems Ireland currently which employs 150 people in cloud computing tech support at its base in East Wall in Dublin, where the multinational has the headquarters of the its customer technical support for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
“As our customers embrace virtual and cloud computing as an agile and cost effective way to deliver desktops and applications to employees, Citrix continues to grow," said senior director John Kelly.
“Our services business in Europe is also growing rapidly; as such we have immediate career opportunities at all levels from graduate to management for technology professionals who want to advance their career in a fast paced, customer-focused technical environment.”
The jobs boost comes on the back of 30 jobs created by the company in 2010.
The recruitment drive is designed to support the ongoing growth of the Citrix technical services business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
