Pixellated, retro graphics and a never-ending building task: what exactly is it about Tiny Death Star that makes it so addictive? The game is the result of a partnership between DisneyMobile, LucasArts and makers of Tiny Tower NimbleBit, which means it's got all the good bits of the latter with a side order of Star Wars. You have to help Emperor Palpatine (hint: he's evil) build the Death Star level by level, which will attract "bitizens" to live and work there, ultimately helping to fund the emperor's evil plans to take over the galaxy. You've got to keep the businesses running, the bitizens happy and above all, don't annoy the emperor or Darth Vader, if you want to live. Occasionally there'll be a break-in or two as the rebels try to put an end to your nefarious scheme. But if you're quick enough you can capture them before they get away. If the idea of going to the Dark Side doesn't trouble you, there's a lot of 8-bit fun to be had here.
