SugarCRM has cited its local partner Provident CRM as one of its key resellers globally during the first quarter of its 2011 financial year. Provident saw its sales of SugarCRM more than double compared to the same quarter 2010.

In addition to numerous smaller companies, three major accounts were signed during the quarter: security company Threatscape, firewall provider SmoothWall and e-commerce provider Nitrosell.
