Sony Reader PRS-T2
€149
E-readers aren’t quite dead yet, despite the competition from tablets. There’s something to be said for a long battery life and e-ink screens that don’t glare. But the touch screen is also a nice touch, so Sony’s PRS-T2 reader manages to bridge the gap. Wifi enabled and compact, it can be easily held in one hand, but it doesn’t leave you peering at a minute screen either. You can turn pages using the buttons on the device, or by swiping the screen. The battery lasts for up to eight weeks on a single charge, and there’s 2GB of memory built in, with the ability to expand its capacity with memory cards.

Qlocktwo
€985
When it comes to clocks, numbers are so last year, it seems. The Qlocktwo follows a recent trend for timepieces with a difference. Instead of displaying simple numbers, the Qlocktwo uses a typographical display. So instead of “9.30”, you get “It is half past nine”, in bright LED-lit letters. It’s available in four colours, complete with swappable front panels, and 12 different languages. And it’s radio controlled in Europe, so once you switch it on and it receives the European signal, it sets itself to the correct time. If you’re outside the coverage area, it has a quartz mode.

Book Book for iPhone
€61.89
A classier kind of iPhone case, the Book Book case is made from leather and looks for all the world like an old book, only smaller. The case has a dual purpose: not only does it protect your phone but it has pockets for your ID, cash and cards, so you can have everything you need right at your fingertips. It also acts as some handy camouflage, hiding your phone from prying eyes, while also ensuring you can access essential connections, such as the headphone jack.
