THE SPOTLIGHT will remain on Ireland’s borrowing costs this week, as the State’s debt management agency returns to the market with its latest bond auction.
The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) is hoping to raise another €1.5 billion tomorrow. Although the bond sale is expected to be successful in terms of demand, the agency is likely to have to pay a significantly higher yield than at previous auctions.
