THE NATIONAL Treasury Management Agency will attempt tomorrow to raise up to another €1.5 billion with a bond auction. Given that the bond markets have calmed down after efforts to contain the euro-zone debt crisis, the auction is expected to succeed.
Bank of Ireland will hold its extraordinary general court (meeting) on Wednesday at which it seek approval from shareholder for a €3.5 billion capital-raising plan, including a €1.7 billion rights issue. The bank holds its annual meeting (court) later that afternoon.
