Mr Tom Finlay, a director of Bank of Ireland Asset Management, has been elected chairman of the Irish Association of Pension Funds (IAPF). He replaces Mr Paul O'Faherty, a director of Mercer.
Mr Tony McArdle is the new chief operating officer at Ulster Bank Group. He has been head of corporate banking at Ulster Bank Markets since 1997 and has spent more than 30 years at the bank. He has held the positions of chief executive of Lombard & Ulster Banking and head of lending at Ulster Bank retail.
Mr Ray Gray becomes group chief financial officer with Aer Rianta. He joins from PricewaterhouseCoopers where he was a partner. Mr Gray previously worked with the Department of Finance. Ms Collette McHugh has become sales director with Eireann International, the investment property specialist based in Dublin. Ms McHugh joined the company in 1995 as a mortgage adviser.
Integrity Holdings, the software holding company, has appointed Mr Paul Nagle as chief executive officer. Mr Nagle spent five years in South Africa as managing director of a company called Multisoft.
Mr Martin Maher becomes vice-president of operations and finance of Mitsubishi Electric. He joined the company in 1985 as financial controller and later became general manager. Mr Dennis Boyd becomes vice-president of sales and marketing at the company.
Mr Philip Byers becomes marketing manager of United Drug, the Dublin-listed drug distribution business. Mr Byers was formerly business manager of Novartis Consumer Health Ireland.
Mr Gary Ryan becomes the new communications brand and business development manager with Tedcastles Oil Products.
Ms Paula O'Reilly becomes people development manager, with responsibility for recruitment and training, while Mr Noel Candon becomes retail and marketing executive at the company.
Mr Ken McElwaine, a former brand manager with Unilever, has set up a new company called Executives on Assignment, which supplies companies with temporary executives.
The sales director of Hastings Hotels Group, Ms Aileen Martin, becomes chairwoman of the Meetings Industry Association of Northern Ireland. The association is the representative body for conference industry professionals.
Ms Eibhlin Doyle has become the president of the Institute of Geologists of Ireland. Ms Doyle is Irish exploration manager with BHP World Exploration Inc.
