Receiver to the West County hotel in Ennis Declan McDonald of PWC confirmed that the Waterford-based Treacy hotel group had purchased the hotel.
Mr McDonald, appointed by AIB as receiver, declined to say how much the hotel was sold for, but it is understood to be around €2 million. The West County’s sister hotel, the Clare Inn, was bought by Dromoland Castle last year.
